Looking for Logo Design? We’re about to talk you out of it.
Quick answer: a logo on its own does very little for a business. George Design creates logos as part of a full brand strategy and identity, so your logo arrives with the positioning, messaging and visual system that make people recognise, trust and choose you.
Fair warning. If you searched “logo design” and landed here, we’re about to talk you out of buying a logo. On its own, anyway.
We design logos all the time. We just won’t sell you one by itself, because a standalone logo has no commercial value. It’s a signature, and a signature only means something once people know who’s signing.
Why a logo by itself falls flat
Think about the last time you chose one business over another. You probably didn’t pick the accountant, builder or café because of their logo. You picked them because they seemed like the right fit. They looked credible, sounded like they knew what they were doing and made it easy to see why they were worth it.
A logo can’t do that alone. It can’t explain why you charge more than the business down the road. It can’t tell your team how to write an email, brief a photographer or pitch a new client. Designed without any thinking behind it, it tends to look great in a presentation and say nothing to the people you need to win.
What we do instead
Our brand projects start with strategy. We work out where your business sits in the market, who you need to attract, what makes you the better choice and how you should sound when you say it. That’s your positioning, messaging and tone of voice.
Then we design the identity to match. The logo, yes, along with the colours, typography, imagery and guidelines that shape how your brand looks and feels everywhere it shows up.
What you end up with is a brand that works as a business tool. It shapes how customers perceive you, guides your marketing and website decisions, and gives your team one consistent way to talk about what you do. That’s where the value sits.
